The Children's Discovery
Museum

I am very pleased and excited to report that we have met our initial $100,000 campaign goal for the Children's Discovery Museum.
The dream of many people in Grand Rapids and the surrounding ten-county
area has been to provide a learning center where children can experience
the world in a different way. The creative spirit is very much a part of
the successful program we have been offering for the past five years with
nearly 50,000 children, teachers and parents involved.
The Museum board is announcing phase II of our capital drive with a goal of raising an additional $150,000 to retire construction debt on the building. We challenge 100 supporters to make a $1,000 tax deductible gift over a four-year period (just $250 a year for four years). A longstanding Museum benefactor will make a matching gift of $50,000 if the Museum can meet the challenge and raise $50,000 in contributions. Join the KIDS NOW Circle today and be recognized on our donor wall at the Museum entry.
We need you now to be personally involved in this exciting one-of-a-kind
children's museum. Please send in your pledge to support kids today. John
Kelsch, the Executive Director, would like you to call him to obtain up-to-date
information on how major gifts will receive special recognition, at 218-327-9276
or 1-800-CDM-KIDS toll free.
Sincerely,
Douglas P. Miner
